The Mikrotik RB5009UG+S+IN Heavy Duty Home Lab Router has USB 3.0, 1G, and 2.5G Ethernet, as well as a 10G SFP+ cage. Four new routers may be installed in a single 1U rackmount space! Processing power has never before been seen in such a compact form factor. The board has 9 wired connectors and a full-sized USB 3.0 port. There are seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, and one 10G SFP+ cage. All of the ports are linked to a high-performance Marvell Amethyst family switch-chip with a 10 Gbps full-duplex connection to the Marvell Armada Quad-core ARMv8 1.4 GHz CPU. Because the CPU and switch chip are both positioned on the bottom of the board, the enclosure serves as a large heat sink. The RB5009UG+S+IN may be powered in three ways: PoE-in via the Ethernet port, DC Jack, and a 2-pin side terminal. The boards have 1GB of DDR4 RAM and 1GB of NAND storage. Compared to our other products in a similar form size, this combination of ports and components gives nearly double the performance in systems with severe CPU demands.
